WooCommerce development
I customise and repair WooCommerce shops: checkout, shipping, payments, orders, stock and invoicing integrations, product feeds and speed. I also take over shops from previous developers, and you deal with me directly throughout.
WooCommerce is a sound foundation for many shops, but real selling almost always comes with its own rules. Shipping depends on weight or country, some products must not be combined, a payment gateway stops updating the order status after an update, and fulfilment retypes data into the warehouse system by hand. Problems like these are rarely solved by yet another plugin that brings its own settings and another chance of a conflict. As a WooCommerce developer I look for the cause first, propose the smallest change that removes it, and put custom logic where it can be tested and changed.
I have spent 19 years in web development. I have worked with Webikon on WordPress, WooCommerce and PHP since 2019, and my work includes WooCommerce stores, among them a sports-nutrition e-commerce store, custom plugins, payment and shipping logic and connections to external services. I am a freelance developer based in Poprad, Slovakia, working remotely with businesses in Slovakia and abroad, and you deal with me directly, with no intermediary between you and the code. As with any other project, you get the scope and price in writing before work starts.

The typical request for help sounds similar: an order cannot be completed, shipping does not appear in the basket, a payment went through but the order is stuck in the wrong status, or customers stop receiving emails. Before fixing a WooCommerce shop I make sure a working backup exists, then review the error logs, the PHP, WordPress and WooCommerce versions, the active theme and the plugins. I reproduce the problem away from the live shop, find the cause and fix it so that it does not return with the next update. A small fix, such as a plugin conflict or a broken form, starts from €25 including VAT.

WooCommerce customisation most often targets the checkout. A field the customer does not need to fill in only slows the purchase down. Shipping should be offered by country, weight, basket value or specific product, and the payment gateway must clearly tell the customer about both success and failure. I test a normal purchase, the return from the payment gateway, repeated submissions and the case where an external service does not respond. WooCommerce customisation starts from €149 including VAT, and you get the scope and price in writing before work begins.

An order does not end in the WooCommerce admin. It continues to the warehouse, the invoicing or accounting system, the courier or a marketing tool. Before connecting anything I decide which system is the source of truth for prices and availability, how items are mapped and what happens when something fails. A retry must never create a second invoice or a second shipment, and the administrator needs to see what was transferred and what needs fixing. I can build the connection when the target system has a usable API or a reliable exchange format.
05
A product feed has to carry correct prices, availability and variants, otherwise advertising budget goes on products that are out of stock. I build or repair the feed to match the requirements of the service that reads it. When no ready-made extension covers your rules, I write a custom WooCommerce plugin: price calculation, restrictions on product combinations, custom order statuses or an admin screen for fulfilment. I keep business logic outside the theme so that a redesign cannot switch it off. A new custom plugin starts from €390 including VAT.

A slow shop loses customers mostly on mobile, in categories with many products and in the basket. The cause is usually a heavy theme, dozens of plugins, unoptimised images or a database that has been collecting unnecessary records for a long time. I first measure what actually slows the shop down, then remove the causes in order of impact and show the numbers before and after. Not every slow shop needs to move to another platform. Often it is enough to remove extensions nobody needs and set clear limits for the ones that stay.

If the original supplier has no time or stopped replying, access from you as the owner is enough. I review the theme, plugins, updates, performance and the critical parts of the checkout, and verify backups and the deployment process. The result is a list of risks ranked by their impact on sales, and an audit or rescue starts from €69 including VAT. I do not rebuild the whole shop by default, and I only recommend a rewrite or migration with a concrete technical reason. I can then look after the shop on an ongoing basis, with care starting from €99 a month.

WooCommerce customisation starts from €149 including VAT, and a small fix from €25. The price depends on the number of changes, the state of the existing code and any integrations. You get the exact price in writing beforehand, and for a shop built by someone else I confirm it after reviewing the code.
Yes, it is a common situation. I first check backups, versions, the theme, plugins and logs, then propose the smallest safe change. I do not need the previous supplier's consent, access from you as the owner is enough.
Yes, when the target system has a usable API or a reliable exchange format. Before building it I review the documentation, item mapping, error states and which system is the source of truth.
If a ready-made extension solves the task safely and is well maintained, I use it. A custom plugin makes sense for your own pricing, shipping or order rules, where stacking several extensions would cost more to maintain. A new custom plugin starts from €390 including VAT.
Most often because of a heavy theme, too many plugins, large images or a bloated database. Only measurement shows the exact cause. I then rank the fixes by impact and show the result before and after.
Usually not. If WooCommerce fits the way you sell, it pays to fix the causes of the problems. I only recommend a migration or a custom application when it is clearly better for your process.

Send the address and a few words about what bothers you. I will go through speed, the mobile version, errors and how easily a visitor can get in touch, and tell you what I would fix first. No fee and no obligation to work together.
Send the shop URL and a short description of the problem or change. I will take a look and suggest the scope and price upfront.
