About me
I'm Šimon, a web developer in Poprad. I have been building websites since 2007.
I work with businesses, founders and agencies that want to talk directly to an experienced developer: clear estimates, regular updates and code that still makes sense a year later.
Nineteen years in, the useful part isn't knowing every framework. It's asking the awkward question early, choosing the simplest solution that lasts and saying when an idea will cost more than it is worth.
This is not just work. I enjoy building things so much that it never feels like working, and that is also why clients come back. I am based in Poprad and work remotely across Slovakia and abroad, and I am happy to meet in person for local projects.

2007: First websites
I started with varied web jobs from Webtrh and learned by shipping real work. Every job had a real client, a deadline and a budget, which taught me more than any course.
02
Košice: frontend, then further back
At Promiseo I worked mainly on frontend development and gradually took on backend work too. That is where I learned to see a website as a whole, from the interface to the server.
03
Bratislava: an international agency
At Mayer McCann Erickson I delivered campaign websites in a larger agency environment, where fixed deadlines and quality seen by many people at once are what count.
04
Today: part of long-term teams
I develop and support plugins, shops and applications through collaborations that have lasted six to seven years and more. I have worked with Webikon on WordPress, WooCommerce and PHP since 2019, and for AltTag I handle conference registrations, payments, tickets and streaming.
- Webikon, AltTag, Mayer McCann Erickson
- Adsulting, Promiseo, ICKK, OwiCreative
- Triad Advertising, NextVision, Diorama, Webgate, Hype, Dolphin'n'Pixels

What you can expect
Projects rarely fail on syntax. They fail on a vague scope, a guessed estimate and code nobody can maintain six months later. So we agree on the scope first, you deal with me directly the whole time, and you get code that is easy to maintain and that another developer can pick up.
- Scope first, then the price
- One contact from start to finish
- Readable code and notes for whoever comes next
