Nineteen years in, the useful part isn’t knowing every framework. It’s asking the awkward question early, choosing the simplest solution that lasts and saying when an idea will cost more than it is worth.

A site someone else built? Not a problem.
The common case: I get FTP or admin access to a site someone else built. I usually find my way around quickly, most often in under half an hour, and my first answer is never "rebuild it all from scratch".
